The story of Zen

Synthmart was founded in 2020 by two friends who shared a vision: to create a haven for intentional living. After years in the fast-paced fashion industry, they craved slowness, authenticity, and transparency. What began as a small online marketplace for Japanese pottery and organic linens quickly grew into a global community of mindful souls.

Today, we collaborate with over 60 artisans from Kyoto to Oaxaca, focusing on heirloom-quality goods that honor traditional craft. Our name reflects our core belief: retail can be a Zen experience — calming, considered, and kind.
